Why Oravian exists

"String floss works. You just don't use it." That is not an insult. It is the whole reason this brand exists.

The water flosser is not new. A dentist named Dr. Gerald Moyer invented it in 1962, after watching patient after patient fail at string floss and deciding the tool was the problem, not the person. He was right. The trouble is that for sixty years the device barely changed: corded, countertop, built for a bathroom you do not have and a routine you do not keep.

Oravian is that same invention in the form it should have been all along. Cordless. One hand. Sixty seconds. Charged over USB-C, used in the shower, sat on the counter next to the things you actually reach for.

We are not here to lecture you about your gums. You already know. We are not going to quote plaque percentages or pretend a gadget will transform your life. We built one thing, the Oravian FlowPro, and we made it good enough that the habit sticks, because the tool finally fits.
